Seattle Bands
Many Seattle bands have gone on to national and international fame. Pearl Jam and Nirvana are well known Seattle bands in the grunge music scene, but Seattle is also home to Jimi Hendrix, Foo Fighters, Heart, Quincy Jones, Queensr˙che (okay, they’re technically from Bellevue), Aiden, and Sir Mix-a-Lot – and those are only a few. If that many popular bands have sprung up from the garages of Seattle, how many more musicians are working hard to be heard, gain a following, and become one of the hot new bands?
If you’re responsible for hiring entertainment for a corporate picnic or other large event, you might want to provide them with an awesome rock band live. But how do you give them famous rock bands like Queen, Billy Idol, Duran Duran or Madonna? Finding the famous musicians for your particular date is near impossible if they’re touring and their price will be exorbitant – and that’s if the band is even together or alive any more. The answer to your entertainment seeking? Rock cover bands.
Cover bands and tribute bands bring the best of an era or particular band to your guests. Seattle cover bands play the cover songs from a specific genre or era such as country, classic rock, Top 40s, or 80s music hits.Tribute bands are similar to cover bands, except they pay tribute to a particular band, often one who is not longer performing. And of course, the tribute bands put on the full performance of the group they represent. KISS tribute bands will sport the traditional KISS stage makeup. Beatles tribute bands will likely have members who resemble and sound like the original Beatles, or may resort to wigs and makeup to appear as true to the original as possible.
Imagine the fun at your next event dancing and singing along to your favorite 80’s songs like Another One Bites the Dust from Queen, Call Me from Blondie, Heart of Glass from Blondie, Rebel Yell from Billy Idol, or I Want Candy from Bow Wow Wow. Or what about a medley of tunes from Duran Duran or Depeche Mode? Guests will stay entertained for hours!
That 80’s Show
is one such tribute band playing – and performing – all your favorites from the 80’s. That’s right, they’re not just a band; they’re a show, complete with costume changes, authentic sounding accents, captivating sets, and plenty of hilarious audience participation. Their 80s rock band song list also includes such timeless favorites from Bananarama, Joan Jett, Prince, Talking Heads, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and AC/DC.
